About the Role

We are seeking an innovative Senior Sound Designer to join our talented team in Bristol . This role is pivotal in crafting the auditory landscape of our projects, creating sound effects, foley, and ambient soundscapes that enhance player immersion and narrative impact. You will collaborate closely with game designers, composers, and engineers to deliver exceptional audio quality and unique sonic identities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, record, and implement high-quality sound effects, ambient sounds, and Foley for projects.
• Collaborate with game designers and directors to define the sonic vision and requirements.
• Utilize digital audio workstations (DAWs) and middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD) for sound implementation.
• Mix and balance audio elements to ensure clarity, impact, and emotional resonance.
• Create custom sound libraries and tools to enhance the audio pipeline.
• Provide technical and creative guidance to junior sound designers and external sound vendors.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience as a Sound Designer , with a portfolio showcasing impressive audio work in games or film.
• Proficiency in industry-standard DAWs such as Pro Tools , Logic Pro , or Ableton Live .
• Experience with game audio middleware like Wwise or FMOD .
• Strong understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and audio engineering principles.
• Excellent creative and technical skills in sound synthesis, recording, and editing.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities within a multidisciplinary team.
