Senior Sound Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Sound Designer to join their innovative, fully remote team. This role is crucial for crafting immersive and impactful auditory experiences that define their projects. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing sound effects, ambient soundscapes, and musical elements that elevate player engagement and storytelling. As a leader in sound, you will guide artistic vision, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest quality of audio output, contributing significantly to the overall sensory impact of their creative endeavors from your remote location.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and implement high-quality sound effects, Foley, and ambient audio for interactive experiences and media.
• Collaborate closely with game designers, directors, and other artists to define and achieve the project's audio vision.
• Develop and manage the audio asset pipeline, ensuring efficient integration and workflow for remote sound production.
• Record, edit, and mix audio elements to create compelling and immersive soundscapes.
• Utilize industry-standard digital audio workstations (DAWs) and sound design tools to their fullest potential.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sound designers and contribute to the overall sound strategy of the studio.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience as a Sound Designer , with a significant focus on interactive media or high-end entertainment projects.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of high-quality sound design work, demonstrating creativity and technical skill.
• Proficiency in industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Reaper, Logic Pro) and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD).
• Deep understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and audio implementation techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
• Experience in music composition or audio direction is a plus for this role.
