About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist to join their procurement team in Glasgow . This role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and engaging with suppliers to secure the best terms for goods and services critical to the company's operations. You will play a key role in developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive value and mitigate risk across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing initiatives for key categories, including market analysis, RFx development, and supplier selection.
• Conduct thorough supplier due diligence, assessing capability, financial stability, and compliance.
• Negotiate complex contracts and service level agreements to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and risk mitigation within the supply base.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a sourcing or strategic procurement role.
• Proven ability to lead complex sourcing projects and negotiations.
• Deep understanding of market dynamics and supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
