About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake structural analysis and design for various building types using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry materials.
• Produce detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for construction.
• Conduct site inspections during construction to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design intent.
• Manage the structural aspects of projects, liaising effectively with project teams and external consultants.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
• Contribute to the development of innovative design solutions and stay abreast of the latest industry advancements.

Requirements

• Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural specialization.
• Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in structural design consultancy.
• Professional qualification (e.g., MICE, MIStructE) is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and best practices in structural engineering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
