Senior Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural analysis and design for building projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial structures.
• Develop innovative and cost-effective structural solutions using advanced engineering principles and software.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, reports, and specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, other consultants, and contractors remotely.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians within the team.
• Undertake site visits and inspections as required, ensuring design integrity and construction quality.

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) or equivalent professional qualification.
• A minimum of 7 years' post-graduate experience in structural engineering design.
• Proven expertise in the design of steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as ETABS , SAP2000 , or similar.
• Excellent understanding of UK structural codes and standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, essential for remote collaboration.
