Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design process for a variety of building types and complexity.
- Develop innovative and cost-effective structural solutions, utilizing advanced analysis and design software.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports to a high standard.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases.
- Manage project teams, delegate tasks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and contractors.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 6 years' experience in structural engineering design.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng MICE or MIStructE) or equivalent.
- Expertise in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, Robot Structural Analysis).
- Deep understanding of British Standards, Eurocodes, and relevant building regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
