Senior Subsea Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Senior Subsea Engineer to join their specialist team in Norwich . This role is critical for the design, analysis, and integrity management of subsea systems used in offshore energy operations. You will be involved in challenging projects, ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of subsea equipment and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and analyze subsea equipment and systems (e.g., pipelines, structures, christmas trees).
• Conduct integrity management assessments and develop strategies for subsea asset maintenance.
• Perform structural, hydrodynamic, and fatigue analysis for subsea components.
• Ensure designs and operations comply with industry standards (e.g., DNV, API) and regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and fabrication yards to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and support site operations when required.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in subsea engineering , preferably within the oil & gas or offshore renewable energy industries.
• Proficiency with subsea design codes and standards.
• Strong analytical skills, including experience with FEA and other relevant engineering software.
• Experience in project management and offshore operations support.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
