About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Subsea Engineer to join their offshore projects team, with a base in Norwich . This vital role involves the design, specification, installation, and operation of subsea production systems and associated infrastructure. You will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity and performance of subsea equipment, contributing to the successful execution of complex offshore field developments within the oil and gas industry . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and specification of subsea hardware, including trees, manifolds, and control systems.
• Develop installation procedures and ensure safe execution of subsea operations.
• Perform technical analysis, simulations, and integrity management for subsea equipment.
• Manage subsea-related project interfaces with other disciplines and contractors.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Stay current with subsea technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in subsea engineering within the offshore oil and gas sector .
• Proven experience with subsea production system design, analysis, and equipment specification.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and best practices (e.g., API, ISO).
• Strong understanding of subsea controls, hydraulics, and umbilical systems.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
