Senior Subsea Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Subsea Engineer to contribute to their offshore projects from their Plymouth, Devon base. This role involves the design, installation, and maintenance of subsea systems essential for oil and gas production. You will work on complex projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integrity and performance of subsea infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and specify subsea equipment , including xmas trees, manifolds, and connectors.
• Oversee the planning and execution of subsea installation and intervention campaigns.
• Conduct structural and hydrodynamic analysis of subsea components and systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., API, ISO) and company HSEQ policies.
• Provide technical support for subsea operations and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Petroleum Engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience in subsea engineering , with a focus on offshore oil and gas projects.
• Proficiency in subsea system design, fabrication, and installation processes.
• Strong understanding of subsea controls, hydraulics, and materials science.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
