Senior Subsea Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Subsea Engineer to join their established team in Glasgow, Scotland, UK . This role is critical to the design, installation, and integrity management of subsea facilities for their Oil & Gas operations. You will lead the technical aspects of subsea projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual design, detailed engineering, and procurement of subsea production systems, including trees, manifolds, risers, and pipelines.
• Develop technical specifications and scopes of work for subsea equipment and services.
• Oversee subsea installation campaigns, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety standards.
• Perform structural, flow assurance, and integrity analysis for subsea components and systems.
• Manage interfaces with other disciplines, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct technical reviews and provide expert advice on subsea engineering matters.
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for challenging subsea environments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in subsea engineering within the Oil & Gas industry .
• Proven track record in the design and execution of subsea field developments.
• Strong knowledge of subsea equipment, installation methods, and associated technologies.
• Experience with subsea simulation and analysis tools.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
