Senior Subsea Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Subsea Engineer to join their engineering hub in Derby . This role is critical for the design, development, and integrity management of subsea production systems and infrastructure. You will play a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of hydrocarbons from subsea wells to shore facilities. This position requires extensive knowledge of subsea equipment, installation processes, and regulatory compliance, offering a challenging and rewarding career in offshore engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify subsea equipment , including christmas trees, manifolds, and pipelines.
• Develop and manage subsea installation procedures and campaigns.
• Conduct integrity management and risk assessments for subsea assets.
• Collaborate with fabrication yards, installation contractors, and clients throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., API, ISO) and company policies.
• Provide technical support for ongoing subsea operations and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in subsea engineering , preferably within the offshore oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of subsea production systems, hydraulics, and controls.
• Experience with subsea pipeline design, routing, and installation.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
