Training & Career Development

TACT invests significantly in the professional development of our social work workforce. A central element of this is our commitment to developing DDP capability, including Level 1 and Level 2 training. Level 1 establishes a common trauma- and attachment-informed foundation, while Level 2 develops deeper applied and reflective practice capability, enabling practitioners to translate DDP principles into complex day-to-day fostering practice.

Our ambition is to build therapeutic capability within the workforce itself, developing practitioners who can support carers, strengthen reflective practice and increasingly provide practice leadership to colleagues. This investment supports our wider aim of creating a consistent, confident and therapeutically informed social work workforce.
