Key Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care, including personal care, medication administration, and emotional support, to residents in accordance with their care plans.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence and choice at all times.
• Observe, monitor, and record individuals' conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the relevant healthcare professionals or management promptly.
• Support individuals in engaging in meaningful activities and community integration, respecting their preferences and abilities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for all residents.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Support Worker or in a similar care role.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and confidentiality .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexibly, including shifts and occasional weekends.
• A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and supporting individuals to live fulfilling lives.
