Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care and emotional support to service users, respecting their dignity and choices.
• Lead and mentor a team of support workers, offering guidance and supervision.
• Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and other professionals.
• Administer medications safely and accurately as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided, including daily progress notes and incident reports.
• Facilitate community integration and social activities for service users.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
• Proven experience in a similar care role, with demonstrable leadership potential.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and person-centred care principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and IT systems relevant to care provision.
