Senior Technical Animator

About the Role

You will focus on developing and implementing advanced animation systems, tools, and workflows that empower animators and ensure the smooth integration of character and object movements. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize character and object animation systems within game engines.
• Create and maintain animation tools, scripts, and pipelines to enhance animator efficiency.
• Implement and troubleshoot animation blending, state machines, IK/FK setups, and other complex animation features.
• Collaborate with animators, riggers, and programmers to ensure seamless integration and performance of animation assets.
• Provide technical support and training to the animation team.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in real-time animation.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience as a Technical Animator or Technical Artist with a strong animation focus.
• Proficiency in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Maya ) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MEL).
• Strong understanding of animation principles, rigging, and character setup.
• Experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity, particularly their animation systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
