About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to join their fully remote development team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain art pipelines, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and quality for the art team.
• Optimize 3D assets, shaders, and lighting for real-time performance in game engines.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement and troubleshoot art-related features and systems.
• Provide technical support and training to artists, helping them overcome challenges and leverage tools effectively.
• Research and implement new technologies and techniques to enhance the art creation process.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Artist , with a strong understanding of both art creation and programming/scripting.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, MEL, C#) and game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity).
• Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation principles.
• Experience with shader development and optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
