Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain art pipelines, tools, and scripts to improve art asset creation and integration efficiency.
• Collaborate with art and engineering teams to identify and resolve technical challenges related to art assets.
• Optimize art assets for performance across various platforms, ensuring visual fidelity and smooth gameplay.
• Create and manage shaders, materials, and lighting setups to achieve desired visual targets.
• Provide technical support and training to artists, helping them understand and utilize new tools and workflows.
• Research and implement new technologies and techniques to enhance the art production process.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Artist in the games or entertainment industry.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, MEL, or C#.
• Expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, and animation software (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter).
• In-depth knowledge of game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity, including their rendering pipelines and asset integration.
• Experience with shader creation and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
