Senior Telecoms Data Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Telecoms Data Analyst to join their remote team, contributing to operations in Randburg. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets related to network performance, customer behavior, and market trends. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources.
• Perform in-depth analysis of network performance metrics, customer usage patterns, and market dynamics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement, cost reduction, and revenue generation through data insights.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and product teams to translate business requirements into analytical approaches.
• Present complex findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a significant focus on the telecoms industry.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning concepts, and data mining techniques.
