Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, configuration, and commissioning of telecommunications systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventative checks to ensure optimal network performance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and junior field engineers.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies during site visits.
• Document all work performed, including site surveys, installations, and repair logs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Telecoms Field Engineer or similar role within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of various telecommunications technologies, including fiber optics, copper cabling, and wireless systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• A valid UK driving license and the ability to travel extensively within the designated region.
• Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in telecommunications engineering are advantageous.
