About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of telecommunications hardware and software in the field.
• Conduct regular site surveys and maintenance checks to ensure network performance and reliability.
• Respond to service calls and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair faults on various telecommunications systems, including fibre optics and wireless technologies.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior field technicians in the Coventry area.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Telecoms Field Technician with a strong technical background.
• Proficiency in installing and maintaining fibre optic, copper, and wireless communication systems.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant safety procedures and equipment.
• A full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the West Midlands .
• Ability to work flexible hours and occasional emergency call-outs.
