About the Role

Our client requires a highly skilled Senior Telecoms Field Technician to join their operations team based in Newcastle upon Tyne . This pivotal role involves deploying, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and infrastructure on-site. You will be the frontline representative, ensuring the reliability and performance of network services for our clients' customers. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test telecommunications equipment at customer premises and network sites.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to network connectivity and service delivery.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on telecoms infrastructure .
• Respond to service calls and provide technical support in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and company procedures.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Field Technician in the telecommunications industry.
• Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting various types of telecommunications hardware and cabling.
• Knowledge of fiber optics, copper cabling, and related installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and documentation.
• Strong customer service skills and a valid driver's license.
