About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Telecoms Network Architect to join their innovative team in Belfast . In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing the future state of our client's telecommunications infrastructure, developing high-level technical strategies, and ensuring that our network architecture supports evolving business needs and technological advancements. You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and product teams to translate complex requirements into robust, scalable, and secure network designs. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall telecom network architecture , ensuring alignment with business objectives and future growth strategies.
• Design end-to-end network solutions for new services and infrastructure upgrades, considering scalability, reliability, and security.
• Evaluate emerging telecom technologies and vendor solutions, providing recommendations for adoption.
• Create detailed technical specifications, blueprints, and documentation for network deployments.
• Lead technical discussions and provide architectural guidance to network engineering and operations teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define requirements and ensure architectural integrity.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (7+ years) in network design and architecture within the telecommunications sector.
• Deep understanding of IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, resilient, and high-performance networks.
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
