About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage large-scale telecommunications networks, including IP networks , fibre optics, and wireless systems.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize speed, capacity, and resilience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including configuration guides, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to evaluate and integrate new network technologies and solutions.
• Conduct capacity planning and provide recommendations for network upgrades and expansions to meet future demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecoms network engineering , with a strong focus on network design and implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching technologies, and network security principles.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools and performance analysis techniques.
• Experience with cloud networking or virtualisation technologies is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
