About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned and proactive Senior Telecoms Network Operations Manager to lead their network operations center (NOC) in Belfast . This critical role involves ensuring the 24/7 availability, performance, and security of our client's extensive telecommunications network. You will manage a team of skilled network engineers and technicians, implement robust operational processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network operations management within the telecoms sector, coupled with excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the telecoms network , ensuring high availability and performance standards are met.
- Lead and manage a team of network operations specialists, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Develop, implement, and refine operational policies, procedures, and best practices for the NOC.
- Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent outages.
- Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions for network disruptions.
- Collaborate with engineering and customer support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Network Operations Management , preferably within the telecoms industry.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and monitoring tools.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Experience in developing and implementing operational procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices and a strong commitment to operational excellence in Belfast .
