About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and availability using advanced NMS tools, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Respond to and manage network incidents, escalating as necessary and ensuring timely resolution.
• Perform routine network maintenance, including software updates, configuration backups, and system health checks.
• Analyze network traffic patterns and performance data to identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop and refine operational procedures and documentation to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in network operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting within a large-scale telecoms environment.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix) and ticketing systems.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching technologies.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to diagnose complex network problems remotely.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
