About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecoms Solutions Architect to join their forward-thinking organization. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will play a critical role in designing innovative and scalable telecommunications solutions that meet the evolving needs of our diverse client base. Your expertise will guide the technical direction of projects, ensuring solutions are robust, cost-effective, and aligned with strategic business objectives. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in architecting complex telecom systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end telecommunications solutions, encompassing voice, data, mobile, and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical proposals.
• Develop high-level and low-level design documentation, including network diagrams, data flows, and integration strategies.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and vendor solutions to enhance service offerings.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and proof-of-concept initiatives for advanced telecom services.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in telecoms solution architecture and design, with a strong portfolio of delivered projects.
• Deep understanding of core network technologies, including 5G, LTE, VoIP, MPLS, and SDN/NFV.
• Proven ability to architect complex, multi-vendor solutions for enterprise and service provider environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with telecom services.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
