About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Senior Telecoms Systems Analyst to join their team in Plymouth, Devon . This role is integral to evaluating, optimising, and supporting the complex systems that underpin our client's telecommunications services. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, analysing system performance, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with technical teams to implement solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse telecommunications systems to identify performance bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements for system enhancements and new projects.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows and user guides.
• Conduct root cause analysis for system issues and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and project management teams to ensure successful system implementation and support.
• Support testing activities, including UAT, for system changes and upgrades.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role, ideally within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and system documentation.
• Understanding of telecommunications systems and technologies is a strong advantage.
• Experience with database querying and data analysis tools.
