About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join their globally distributed security team. This role is crucial for understanding and anticipating cyber threats, providing actionable intelligence that helps protect the organisation's assets. You will analyse threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), develop predictive models, and communicate critical insights to various stakeholders, all while working remotely. This position offers the chance to be at the forefront of cybersecurity intelligence, contributing significantly to the company's defensive strategy in a flexible, remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyse, and disseminate actionable threat intelligence on emerging cyber threats and actors.
- Develop and maintain threat models and profiles of relevant threat actors and their TTPs.
- Integrate threat intelligence into security operations, incident response, and risk management processes.
- Utilise various sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), commercial feeds, and technical indicators.
- Produce regular intelligence reports, briefings, and alerts for technical and executive audiences.
- Conduct deep-dive research into specific threat campaigns and malware families.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related analytical field.
- 5+ years of experience in threat intelligence, cybersecurity analysis, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience with threat intelligence platforms and tools.
- Strong understanding of cyber attack methodologies, malware analysis, and attacker motivations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
