About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager to join their team in Liverpool . This critical role is responsible for developing and implementing a robust fundraising strategy focused on securing significant income from charitable trusts and foundations. You will play a key part in identifying funding opportunities, building strong relationships with grant-makers, and developing compelling proposals that showcase the impact of our work. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy targeting trusts and foundations across the UK.
• Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with potential and existing grant-making bodies.
• Write high-quality, persuasive funding proposals, applications, and reports.
• Manage a portfolio of trusts and foundations, ensuring excellent stewardship and reporting compliance.
• Analyse funding trends and opportunities within the trust and foundation sector.
• Collaborate with programme teams to ensure proposals accurately reflect project needs and impact.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in trusts and foundations fundraising , with a proven track record of success.
• Demonstrated ability to write compelling and successful funding applications.
• Strong understanding of the UK grant-making landscape.
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with grant-makers.
• Experience working within the charity or non-profit sector is essential.
