Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the user experience strategy for their digital products in Brighton . You will be responsible for translating user needs and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing designs. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to craft seamless user journeys and enhance product usability, playing a key role in defining the visual identity and user experience of our client's offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to completion, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and user flows to articulate and visualize user needs and interactions.
• Create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces (UI) that align with brand guidelines and enhance usability.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve the overall user experience (UX).
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and maintain design consistency across platforms.
• Stay current with design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience (5+ years) as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma , Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and interaction design.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing user feedback.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
