Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and user-focused Senior UI/UX Designer to join their team in Sheffield . You will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences for our games. This role requires a deep understanding of player psychology, interaction design principles, and a passion for creating seamless user journeys. You will work closely with game designers, artists, and engineers to ensure that the user interface enhances gameplay and player immersion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype user interface layouts, user flows, and interaction models for game menus, HUDs, and in-game systems.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with artists to ensure the UI is visually cohesive with the game's art style.
• Provide clear documentation and specifications for UI implementation by developers in Sheffield .

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in UI/UX design , with a focus on game development.
• A strong portfolio showcasing successful UI/UX designs for games or complex digital products.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in an office environment.
