Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and creative Senior UI/UX Designer to join their expanding team in Sheffield . This role is pivotal in shaping the user interface and user experience of their digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing. You will work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate complex user needs into elegant design solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for digital products, from concept ideation and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and final UI design.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers to define user requirements and translate them into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Present design concepts, prototypes, and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively.
• Ensure designs are optimized for accessibility and cross-platform compatibility.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful digital product designs.
• Expertise in using design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing, and translating insights into design improvements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
