Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client, a burgeoning technology startup in Wolverhampton , is seeking an accomplished Senior UI/UX Designer to spearhead the design of their innovative digital products. You will be responsible for translating complex user needs into intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing interfaces for both web and mobile applications. This role demands a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a keen eye for aesthetics, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, agile environment. You will have a significant impact on the user experience and product success.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights into user needs and behaviors.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features and product enhancements.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that align with brand identity and enhance user engagement.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure design feasibility and seamless implementation.
• Create and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product development process, championing best practices in UX/UI design.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a robust portfolio demonstrating your design process and outcomes.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale effectively.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles and constraints.
