About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join their dynamic creative team based in Leicester . You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and visual design of cutting-edge digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing. This role involves collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to translate user needs and business objectives into compelling design solutions. You will have a significant impact on product direction, contributing to a culture that values creativity, user-centricity, and design excellence across all digital touchpoints, driving innovation and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from concept to launch, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve usability.
- Collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
- Mentor junior designers and advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital product design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to articulate design decisions effectively.
