Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join their fully remote team, based out of Edinburgh . This role is critical in shaping intuitive and engaging user interfaces for their digital products. You will lead the design process from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and usability testing, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive UI style guides and design systems.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design , with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Proven ability to conduct user research and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team environment.
