About the Role

Our client, a renowned urban design consultancy, is seeking a strategic Senior Urban Designer to join their fully remote team. You will lead the design and planning of complex urban regeneration projects, focusing on creating sustainable, vibrant, and inclusive environments. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and development of urban design strategies and masterplans.
• Prepare high-quality design documentation, including drawings, reports, and visualisations.
• Conduct site analysis, context studies, and feasibility assessments for urban development projects.
• Engage with stakeholders, including local authorities, developers, and community groups, to foster consensus and support.
• Advise on policy, design guidance, and the integration of sustainable design principles into urban projects.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field.
• Significant professional experience in urban design practice, with a portfolio showcasing large-scale masterplanning.
• Proficiency in urban design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS.
• Strong understanding of urban planning policy, sustainability, and placemaking principles.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, adept at remote engagement.
