About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking digital product studio based in Brighton , is seeking an experienced Senior UX Researcher to join their growing team. You will lead research initiatives to uncover deep user insights, informing the design and development of intuitive and engaging digital experiences. This role involves planning and conducting a variety of research methods, analyzing findings, and collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and developers to translate insights into actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding user behavior, possesses strong analytical skills, and is adept at communicating research outcomes effectively to diverse audiences. You will play a critical role in ensuring our client's products are user-centered and meet the needs of their target audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute a variety of qualitative and quantitative UX research studies, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and ethnographic research.
- Analyze research data to identify key user needs, pain points, and behaviors, and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Create compelling research reports, presentations, and user personas to communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user insights into the product development process.
- Advocate for the user throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that design and development decisions are user-centered.
- Stay current with the latest UX research methodologies and tools, and share knowledge with the wider team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in UX Research or a related field (e.g., Market Research, Human Factors).
- Proficiency in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experience with research tools for usability testing, surveys, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
