Senior UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and empathetic Senior UX Researcher to join their product development team in Brighton . This role is crucial for understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations to inform product design and strategy. You will plan, conduct, and analyze a variety of qualitative and quantitative research studies to uncover actionable insights. Working closely with designers, product managers, and engineers, you will advocate for the user and ensure that product decisions are grounded in solid research. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute a wide range of user research studies, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and field studies.
• Analyze research data to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities, translating findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate research findings into the product development lifecycle.
• Communicate research findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels through presentations and reports.
• Champion user-centered design principles and methodologies throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of research methodologies and their application.
• Proficiency in planning and conducting both qualitative and quantitative research.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Experience working in an agile development environment and a passion for understanding user behavior.
