About the Role
Our client is seeking a deeply insightful and experienced Senior UX Researcher to join their fully remote product development team. In this role, you will be dedicated to understanding user behaviours, needs, and motivations through rigorous research methodologies. Your findings will directly inform the design and development of intuitive and engaging digital products, ensuring they meet user expectations and business objectives. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to champion the user's perspective throughout the product lifecycle, fostering a culture of empathy and data-driven decision-making within a distributed team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct a wide range of user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and ethnographic research.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to generate actionable insights and identify user pain points and opportunities.
- Translate research findings into compelling reports, presentations, and design recommendations.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate user insights into the product development process.
- Advocate for user needs and ensure that user research drives product strategy and design decisions.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the advancement of UX research practices within the organization.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a dedicated UX Research role, with a strong portfolio showcasing research methodologies and impact.
- Proficiency in various qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools.
- Experience conducting research for digital products (web and mobile applications).
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
