About the Role
Our client is seeking a deeply empathetic and analytical Senior UX Researcher to join their user-centered design team, working remotely. This role is crucial for uncovering user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform product strategy and design decisions. You will be responsible for planning, conducting, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research to provide actionable insights that drive the creation of intuitive and effective user experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced researcher to champion the voice of the user, influence product direction, and contribute to a culture that values data-driven design, working in a collaborative, fully remote environment that fosters continuous learning and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute a variety of user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries.
- Analyze and synthesize research data to identify key user needs, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement.
- Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights and compelling recommendations for product and design teams.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Engineers to integrate user feedback throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain research protocols, participant recruiting strategies, and ethical guidelines.
- Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX research, with a strong portfolio showcasing research methodologies and impact on product design.
- Proficiency in planning and conducting various qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experience with user research tools and platforms (e.g., UserTesting.com, SurveyMonkey, Lookback).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data.
- Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate research findings clearly.
- A degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
