About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and empathetic Senior UX Researcher to join their product development team in Bradford . In this critical role, you will be responsible for uncovering user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform product strategy and design decisions. Your insights will directly shape the user experience of our client's digital offerings, ensuring they are intuitive, effective, and enjoyable to use. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and analyze user research studies using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting).
- Translate research findings into actionable insights, design recommendations, and compelling user stories for product and design teams.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user feedback throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to represent user needs and inform product strategy.
- Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Stay current with the latest UX research methodologies and tools, and contribute to the advancement of research practices within the company.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX research or a related field, with a portfolio demonstrating research projects and impact.
- Proficiency in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and analysis techniques.
- Experience with user research tools and platforms (e.g., UserTesting.com, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the product development process.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field.
