Senior UX/UI Designer - Mobile Apps

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior UX/UI Designer specializing in mobile applications to join their innovative digital product team, operating remotely with a base in Belfast . You will be instrumental in designing intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user experiences for their flagship mobile products. This role involves conducting user research, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that meet user needs and business objectives. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into seamless and delightful user journeys, shaping the future of their mobile offerings and driving user adoption and satisfaction in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for mobile applications, from user research and journey mapping to wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
• Translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning user interfaces.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to ensure successful implementation of designs.
• Champion user-centered design principles and best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design , with a strong focus on native mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Demonstrated experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design solutions.
• Strong understanding of mobile design patterns, platform guidelines, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
