Senior UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to enhance their digital product offerings. Based in our vibrant Liverpool office with a hybrid working model, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and researchers to translate user needs and business requirements into seamless and effective design solutions. This is a crucial role for driving user satisfaction and product success through thoughtful design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to implementation, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop comprehensive user flows, journey maps, and wireframes that clearly articulate interaction and information architecture.
• Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and design systems.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketing specialists.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design team's capabilities and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital products.
• Expertise in user research methodologies, usability testing, and heuristic evaluation.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.
• Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
