Senior UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join their dynamic digital team in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to launch, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across platforms.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve usability.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide design support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall design strategy and team growth.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, effectively articulating design decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful digital product designs.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts.
• A degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
