Senior UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join their product development team in Oxford . You will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and interface design of their flagship products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing. This position requires a strong portfolio, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and the ability to lead design projects from concept to implementation. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to deliver exceptional digital experiences that meet user needs and business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to drive design innovation within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for new features and products, from user research and ideation to wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Create detailed user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define product requirements and ensure design feasibility.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the development of design best practices and standards within the team.
• Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the user experience in all product decisions.
• Stay current with emerging design trends, technologies, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex projects and successful outcomes.
• Expertise in user research methodologies, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
• Experience leading design projects and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• Strong understanding of front-end development capabilities and constraints.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field is advantageous.
