Senior UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior UX/UI Designer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience of our digital products, from initial concept through to final implementation. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative flair, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure our digital offerings are intuitive, engaging, and meet the evolving needs of our users, driving innovation and customer satisfaction in the creative and digital sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, throughout the design and development lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain a consistent design system and style guide to ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design team's capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design , with a strong portfolio showcasing complex digital projects.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
