Senior UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join their dynamic creative team in Aberdeen . You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and visual design of cutting-edge digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate complex user needs into elegant solutions that drive business objectives. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional digital interfaces that resonate with our target audience and contribute to the company's ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to launch, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Create intuitive and engaging user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Develop visually appealing UI designs, style guides, and design systems that ensure brand consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to define and implement innovative user experiences.
• Mentor junior designers and champion user-centered design principles across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex digital product design.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• Demonstrated experience in user research methodologies, usability testing, and information architecture.
• A solid understanding of front-end development principles and how design translates to code.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
