About the Role

Our client, a leading developer of visually stunning games, is seeking a talented Senior VFX Artist to enhance their creative team in Sunderland . Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual effects (VFX) for in-game elements, including explosions, magic, environmental effects, and UI feedback.
• Develop and optimize particle systems, shaders, and post-processing effects within the game engine.
• Collaborate with game designers and programmers to ensure VFX integration meets gameplay and performance targets.
• Maintain consistency in art style and quality across all visual effects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to VFX implementation and performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a VFX Artist in the gaming industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse effects.
• Proficiency with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity and their respective VFX tools.
• Expertise in 2D and 3D animation software (e.g., After Effects, Maya) and particle system editors.
• Strong understanding of real-time rendering techniques and performance optimization for VFX.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
