About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly creative and technically adept Senior VFX Artist to join their fully remote team, based remotely but collaborating with colleagues across the UK. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and implementing visually stunning special effects that enhance the immersion and excitement of their entertainment projects. Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality visual effects (VFX) for games, films, or other interactive media.
• Create particle systems, shaders, simulations, and other real-time effects using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with the art and engineering teams to integrate VFX seamlessly into projects.
• Optimize VFX for performance across various platforms while maintaining visual fidelity.
• Stay abreast of emerging VFX technologies and techniques, and propose innovative solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to VFX implementation and rendering.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in VFX artistry , with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise.
• Proficiency in VFX creation tools such as Houdini, Maya, 3ds Max, or After Effects.
• Strong understanding of particle systems, fluid dynamics, and rendering pipelines.
• Experience with game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity, and their VFX systems.
• Excellent artistic eye for detail, color, composition, and motion.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment and manage time efficiently.
