About the Role

This role is crucial for bringing worlds to life through dynamic and impactful visual effects, from explosive combat sequences to subtle environmental atmospherics. You will lead the creation of stunning VFX, collaborate closely with other disciplines, and mentor junior artists within a fully remote structure. Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and implement high-quality visual effects (VFX) for characters, environments, and gameplay events.
• Optimize VFX assets for performance across multiple platforms while maintaining artistic integrity.
• Collaborate with game designers and engineers to ensure VFX enhance gameplay and narrative.
• Develop and refine particle systems, shaders, and post-processing effects.
• Create concept art and style guides for VFX to ensure artistic consistency.
• Mentor and guide junior VFX artists, fostering a collaborative and productive remote team environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a VFX Artist in the game industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of high-quality effects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard VFX creation tools and game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity).
• Strong understanding of particle systems, simulations, shader development, and compositing techniques.
• Experience with real-time VFX optimization and performance profiling.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting .
• A keen artistic eye for detail, timing, and composition.
